Asuran

குடும்பம் சிவசாமி (தனுஷ்), கீழ் சாதியைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு சிறு விவசாயி. உயர் சாதியைச் சேர்ந்த பணக்கார நில உரிமையாளரான நரசிம்மன் (ஆதுகலம் நரேன்), தனது மூன்று ஏக்கர் நிலத்தை அபகரிக்கவும், சிமென்ட் தொழிற்சாலையை கட்டவும் சதி செய்ததால், இரு குடும்பங்களுக்கிடையில் பதட்டங்கள் அதிகமாக உள்ளன. சிவசாமியின் சூடான தலை மூத்த மகன் முருகன் (டீஜே அருணாசலம்) நரசிம்மனை அவமானப்படுத்துகிறார், பிந்தையவர் அவரை கொடூரமாக கொன்றதன் மூலம் பதிலடி கொடுக்கிறார். சிவசாமி இன்னும் ஒரு சமாதான அணுகுமுறையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு தனது குடும்பத்தை பாதுகாக்க முயற்சிக்கிறார், அவரது கோபமான டீனேஜ் மகன் சிதம்பரம் (கென்) தனது தாயார் பச்சையம்மா (மஞ்சு வாரியர்) துன்பப்படுவதைக் காண முடியவில்லை, நரசிம்மனைக் கொல்கிறார். நில உரிமையாளரின் உறவினர்கள் இளைஞனின் இரத்தத்திற்காக வளைந்துகொடுப்பதால், தேசபக்தர் தனது குடும்பத்தை காப்பாற்றி பகைமைக்கு முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைக்க முடியுமா?

The family is that of Sivasamy (Dhanush), a small farmer from the lower caste. With Narasimhan (Aadukalam Naren), a rich landlord from the upper caste, plotting to grab his three-acre land, to build a cement factory, the tensions are running high between the two families. Things escalate when Sivasamy's hot-headed elder son, Murugan (TeeJay Arunasalam) humiliates Narasimhan, and the latter retaliate by having him brutally killed. Sivasamy still tries to protect his family by taking a pacifist approach, his angry teenaged son Chidambaram (Ken) unable to see his mother Pachaiyamma (Manju Warrier) suffering, kills Narasimhan. With the landlord's relatives baying for the youngster's blood, can the patriarch save his family and put an end to the enmity?
